Tappa tappa

The only think that I look forward to each week, besides the new Duck Dynasty episodes, is my tap dance class every Wednesday night.

I am most definitely not skilled in the dance department, as I usually just end up spinning around in circles trying to get my feet to cooperate with my head, but I try. It's a challenge, but I love a good challenge. I'm so very thankful that my coworker told me about the class, and encouraged me to go. It gives me something to work towards, and I get a little bit of a work out in. When it comes to me and working out, I get horrible A.D.D. I would like to try Zumba, but let's be real, I'm so much of a white girl that can't dance. Odds are that I horribly embarrass my friends when we go out, but it's a good thing that I'm usually tipsy and not paying attention, not that it happens very much anymore due to my ridiculous schedule, but I digress.... Hopefully I pick up this tap dancing stuff a lot quicker, just to make my life easier, but we shall see...

One thing that I need to get back into doing, strictly for my health (both physical and mental), is faithfully going to the gym. I really enjoyed doing 5ks years ago, but I have used my many commitments as an excuse to not go. Obviously they have been successful, so I need to get out of that. Somehow. I need to do something to help with my overall morale in my life.

I have been stuck in such an anxiety and depression stricken mood lately, that it's just ridiculous. It's so ridiculous that I have one of my best friends randomly checking on my welfare. This wedding shower and baby shower just needs to be DONE so that I can stop having crap like that to stress over! That and I need to learn to say 'NO'. Ha, that won't ever happen. I can be a bitch, but I can't say no- one of my many downfalls. On the plus side, I am finally partaking in a volunteer event through work, doing a walk for breast cancer at a lake in downtown Minneapolis. It should be fun. I hope. Cross your fingers it doesn't rain.

Whelp, it's time for bed. I'm tired, per usual.

Love, peace, and chicken grease
