Today was a shittastic day.
Work was unbearable, and I managed to spend 10.5 hours of it trying not to bash my head against a wall.
Started out with the typical morning routine.
Moved on to putting away our order of supplies/packaging, aka lift a lot of heavy boxes while repeatedly going up and down a ladder.
Attempted to do some cakes, but got distracted by the millions of people who had questions.
Took a lunch break, and came back to complete chaos.
The dude replacing the blades on our bread slicer managed to slice a few fingers just as he was finishing the job.
Cue him running all over the place, dripping blood, and wreaking havoc on the department.
After he sees the clinic, he packs up his stuff and leaves.
To say I freaked out is a minor statement.
I was going nuts.
Everything bad happens when I'm there.
I'm not a fan.
So stupid.
So we spend time cleaning up blood, and realizing that now we have to take apart the slicer again in order to clean it because there is blood in it.
This is a food safety nightmare.
We're making the company come out to properly clean it, and they must come tomorrow.
We can't go into the Easter weekend without a bread slicer, or the people will riot.
You think i'm joking, but i'm not.
People become PIZZED OFF when they have to slice their bread themselves.
Seriously, they're ridiculous.
And yeah, I didn't get to decorate any cakes today.
I was too busy trying not to bash my head into a wall.
I'm hoping that everything will be OK when I'm back to work on Thursday.
Yoga tonight was amazing, and super tough at the same time.
She incorporated some Tai Chi into the beginning, and I really like the flow of it.
Some good stretching was going on tonight... And my thighs were burning.
Tomorrow I will wake up and do my 2 miles, then bake up a storm (7 cakes and cupcakes).
And run to the cake supply store.
I might as well buy stock in the store...
Bedtime for me- I'm pooped.
Stay classy, and don't cut your fingers on knives/blades/anything sharp.
Despises sharp things,
Bamf
